Kathmandu, 26 December : Nepali Cricket Team is set to play three T20I matches and 3 ODI matches in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The series will be played from the end of January.
Nepal will play ODI Series from 25th of January to 28th of same month followed by a 3-match T20I Series from 31st January to 3rd February. All the matches is expected to be played in Dubai. However, the approval about the date and venue is yet to be approved by ICC.
The UAE tour and Series was possible due to the joint effort of Players and Coaches as Nepal’s Cricketing body is under suspension.
All the ODI matches will be given an ODI Status and T20 Matches will hold a T20I Status. Nepal gained the ODI and T20 Status after finishing at eighth position in ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Zimbabwe.
Nepal had played altogether 3 ODI matches, two against the Netherlands and a match against UAE in the Asia Cup Qualifiers.
