A 12-year-old boy has been murdered after abduction in Rautahat district.
Police said Yuvaraj Sah of Dumariya in Katahariya Municipality-9 was found murdered on the bank of Bagmati River in Gadimai Municipality-5 on Monday.
He was abducted from his house on Saturday night.

His body was recovered 25 km away from his house.
Police have arrested five suspects—Shakti Raya Yadav, Prabin Raya Yadav, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Binod Kumar Patel and Rabi Kumar Patel—in connection to the incident.
Inspector Manoj Yadav of District Police Office said the suspects admitted to their crime during interrogation. The abductors had demanded Rs 10 million ransom for the Yuvaraj’s release.
Some of the kidnappers are from the same neighbourhood where the boy lived, police said.
