Twenty-four renowned models from Nepal are set to embrace the Magic of Zaffran and flaunt fashion designer, Daljit Kaur Sudan’s designs in what has been dubbed Daljit Sudan Fashion Runway. The event, which is slated to take place on May 25, will see professional faces such as Nagma Shrestha, Aastha Pokharel, Sabita Karki and Bibek Khadka walk the ramp.
The programme is being organised by Next Models Nepal, a popular modelling agency established in 2014. Amid a press conference held earlier this week, the organisers shared that the Fashion runway will be hosted at Soaltee Crowne Plaza and will consist of a 192 feet ramp—the first of its kind in Nepal.
While Sudan has already presented her designs in many shows internationally, this will be her first solo show. Her designs will be categorised into three themes— Magic, Transparency, and Tradition—and will be demonstrated by 13 female and eight male models in total. Speaking at the programme, Sudan shared that her designs for the shows have never been showcased anywhere else.
